The Cool Muscle CM1 and CM2 series Integrated Servo Motors can be quickly and easily configured to run multi-axis systems designed for dispensing or cutting. Paths can be stored in the motor and activated via digital I/O, or streamed continuously from a host device. Your machine can run highly accurate set patterns without the need for complicated PLC or HMI programming.
Myostat Motion Control Inc. has released a line of USB communication cables for the CM1 and CM2 line of integrated servo motors. Please review the Robust Interface Options PDF for a listing of the USB cabling options.
The Cool Muscle motors offer superior capabilities in laboratory analysis automation
Eighteen CM1 Cool Muscle motors were recently used by Labman Automation Limited, a laboratories and industrial robotic solutions specialists in their new automated bottle inspection system design.
HMI/Touch Panel programming by our in-house engineers
Myostat Motion Control Inc now provides programming services for various HMI/Touch Panel systems. If your project has an accelerated development schedule, ask us how we can help by setting up your motors and panel while you concentrate on the mechanical design.
Technologies Important to Your Machine
It's What's Inside that Counts!
The Cool Muscle is an Integrated servo system. All of the necessary hardware and electronics are combined into one package.
Though the integrated package offers many opportunities for your machine, don't forget about the modern control software that resides in the Cool Muscle's RISC CPU.
One of the latest advances to the Cool Muscle is the addition of the robust H Infinity controller. Unlike PID systems, the H Infinity controller handles changing load dynamics with grace. From inside Cool Works, our interface software, the H Infinity controller can be run through an auto tuning system to quickly assess your mechanism's load and configure the control system for optimal responsiveness.
Closing the Loop with your Load Cell
The Cool Muscle integrated servo motor has a dedicated PI gain system on analog inputs, used to tune Load Cell analog feedback into the motor. You can now close not only an external position loop, but also an external force/torque loop providing fine-grain torque control for your next application.
