Though the integrated package offers many opportunities for your machine, don't forget about the modern control software that resides in the Cool Muscle's RISC CPU.
One of the latest advances to the Cool Muscle is the addition of the robust H Infinity controller. Unlike PID systems, the H Infinity controller handles changing load dynamics with grace. From inside Cool Works, our interface software, the H Infinity controller can be run through an auto tuning system to quickly assess your mechanism's load and configure the control system for optimal responsiveness.
Closing the Loop with your Load Cell
The Cool Muscle integrated servo motor has a dedicated PI gain system on analog inputs, used to tune Load Cell analog feedback into the motor. You can now close not only an external position loop, but also an external force/torque loop providing fine-grain torque control for your next application.

The CM2 is the latest Cool Muscle integrated servo system from Muscle Corporation.
A solution which combines all the features required for modern motion control, the CM2 includes an AC servo motor, 50000 count encoder, AC servo amplifier, 64Mhz RISC-based motion controller with PLC functionality, and an intelligent single/three phase100-240VAC power supply. All in the motor itself!
